The Mendocino County Resource Conservation District (hereinafter MCRCD) invites you to review and respond to this ITB #01A2029, entitled WILLITS MITIGATION LANDS MAINTENANCE AND ENHANCEMENT PROJECT, Mendocino County, CA. In submitting your bid, you shall comply with the instructions found herein.
Sealed bids will be received by the Mendocino County Resource Conservation District until the hour of 3:00 p.m. on Friday March 31, 2023.
This Invitation to Bid is for a contract to perform shrub and tree planting, herbaceous plant site preparation and installation, mowing, target weed removal, other weed removal, watering, and seed collection on the Willits Bypass Mitigation Lands.
A pre-bid submittal mandatory site tour is scheduled for this project. The pre-bid submittal site tour will be on Monday March 20, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. at MCRCD’s Willits field office located at 998 Hearst Rd. Willits CA 95490. MCRCD staff will be available to answer questions before an award is made.
Sealed bids will be accepted by the Mendocino County Resource Conservation District, until the hour of 3:00 PM PST on Friday March 31. Bids will be reviewed, and winning bidders will be notified by Friday April 7, 2023.
Specifications, forms, and contract documents may be viewed at the office of the Mendocino County Resource Conservation District, 998 Hearst Rd, Willits, California 95490 between the hours of 8am – 4pm Monday through Friday. Additionally, electronic versions can be obtained by requesting copies via email to chris.bartow@mcrcd.org or on MCRCD’s website at www.mcrcd.org .
Contractors shall possess the following valid license issued by the State of California at the time the bid is submitted, and this contract is awarded:

The anticipated operation period of this contract is from April 17, 2023, to December 31, 2027. Work restrictions will occur because of environmental conditions, including bird protections.
