Davy’s semaphore grass (Pleuropogon californicus var. davyii) is a perennial grass that is not only native to California but endemic to California. There is consideration of putting this species on the threatened species list. The mitigation lands have a large population and will continue to manage the grounds to encourage and support the Davy’s semaphore grass populations.
