Week #12 A Pair of Squirrels out for a Springtime Romp

Western gray squirrels do not hibernate in the winter but do become less active. These two playful squirrels are entering into spring in a playful mood. They must have been feasting on the acorns in the oak woodlands that provide a high content of carbohydrates and fatty oils that give them the energy to thrive.
