Stephanie Garrabrant-Sierra has a degree in Political Science from UCSB and earned her J.D. at UC Berkeley.  She is licensed to practice law in Texas and California.  In the past 30 years, she has worked for several cities in California, as well as for Texas Parks and Wildlife in various executive and legal roles such as City Manager, Assistant City Manager, Assistant City Attorney, Risk Manager, Administrative Services Director, Senior Negotiator, Labor Relations Manager and Contracting Branch Manager. Her practice areas include labor relations, public contracting, and negotiation. She is a bluegrass fiddle-player, loves to hike with her dogs,  and is a long time “Creek Freak” , being instrumental in creating the City of Oakland’s first Urban Creek Preserve near downtown Oakland and working with other environmental and environmental justice concerns.
