CDFA Climate Smart Agricultural Programs

The CDFA Healthy Soils Program is now accepting grant applications until 5:00 p.m. PT, June 26th, 2020.

The HSP Incentives Program provides financial incentives to California growers and ranchers to implement conservation management practices that sequester carbon, reduce atmospheric greenhouse gases (GHGs), and improve soil health. GHGs benefits are estimated using quantification methodology and tools developed by California Air Resources Board (CARB), USDA-NRCS and CDFA and soil health improvement will be assessed by measuring soil organic matter content.

*Due to COVID-19 and public health concerns, all remaining clinics are going to be held online.

Mendocino County RCD is hosting weekly Zoom meeting calls starting April 7 from 3:00- 4:30 pm thru June 23 to assist landowners/managers with their  applications and answer any questions.  Please see information and downloadable information below.
