This project represents the other component of the Working Landscapes Riparian Enhancement Project, funded by the CA Department of Water Resources. The MCRCD will eradicate approximately 24,000 square feet of the highly invasive species Arundo donax along the mainstem Russian River, and install two willow/brush mattresses in locations where eradication efforts have exposed the river bank to erosion.
