Ned (he/him) joined the MCRCD forestry team in November 2023 as a Forestry Project Manager. His goal is to help North Bay communities protect, conserve, and restore forest lands. Since he graduated from UC Berkeley with a BS in Conservation and Resource Studies in 2019, he has moved around the west coast working and living in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and California. In that time, he worked as a forestry technician, commercial port sampler, hatchery technician, and a Covid-19 health screening associate. His dream is to one day own a Coastal Redwood nursery and help conserve the wonderful forests in which redwoods grow. Ned’s interests and hobbies include gardening, basketball, and outdoor activities with his dog.
