Request for Proposal Dated: October 5, 2022
PROPOSAL DEADLINE: 3:00 P.M. November 7, 2022
The Mendocino County Resource conservation District is accepting proposals for a contract, or contracts, to perform fire fuels reduction and other treatments in an area divided into fourteen (14) treatment units near or adjacent to North Red Mountain in northern Mendocino County. Each treatment unit has its own scope of work and is separately described and mapped. The MCRCD reserves the right to award separate contracts to one or more proposers for different treatment units. Each proposer may propose for any number of treatment units.
A pre-submittal mandatory meeting is scheduled for this project. The pre-submittal meeting will be on October 14, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at the foot of Red Mountain Road and Highway 271. It is anticipated that the top finishers will be asked to make an oral presentation to MCRCD staff, who will be available to answer questions before an award (or awards) is (are) made.
Sealed proposals will be accepted by the Mendocino County Resource Conservation District, until the hour of 3:00 PM PST on November 7th. Proposals will be reviewed, and proposers notified by November 10th whether they will be chosen to give an oral presentation to MCRCD staff on November 14th.
